Meet Courtney Segulin, Owner and Trainer at Harbor View Stables.
Courtney Segulin is an accomplished equestrian with over 20 years of riding experience and a proven track record of success in the saddle. Her competitive journey has seen her win numerous regional competitions in Saddleseat and Huntseat Equitation, English Pleasure, western and Hunter Pleasure.
Courtney’s professional career began in 2010 with an internship at The University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm. This pivotal experience led her to work as a groom and youth rider at two top Morgan training facilities, where she gained invaluable hands-on knowledge. In 2014, she transitioned into professional training as an Assistant Trainer and Instructor at Windward Farm in Pennsylvania. Her career continued to flourish when she became one of the Head Trainers at Waterford Farm, where she trained and instructed horses and riders at both the regional and national levels for two years.
In 2017, Courtney took her expertise to Kierson Farm, where she trained Morgan and American Saddlebred horses for two years before starting her own program, Berlin Stables. Under her leadership, Berlin Stables celebrated the victory of two Grand National Champions:

2023 Grand National Reserve Champion in Park Saddle Junior Exhibitor – MJS Black Velvet
Most recently, Courtney worked as an assistant to David Rand of Rand Stables in York, ME, where she gained further experience and insight to establish her own farm, Harbor View Stables.
